Obvious and self-important, this narrative adventure game is more interested in moral grandstanding than to flesh out believable characters. The scenario here is intriguing at first, but you'll groan when you're forced to endure the cringy dialog and hackneyed writing. The Dead Tree of Ranchiuna is like going on a long hike with a bunch of people you can't stand. Rating: 30%
