If you've read the top ten things that scare me you'll remember my skittishness over a certain middle-aged chef. At that time he still had an NBC show, a bunch of Food Network programs, and numerous books. So, I suppose it was easy to be scared by a guy like Emeril. These days he's still releasing books and giving Food Network fans some good cooking ideas ... but his NBC show, simply called Emeril, was put on a permanent weight loss plan.

These days though there's a new concern, and it comes in the way of a company that is a LITTLE too close to a certain chef for my comfort. Thankfully, no Emeril videogame is planned (though, you can still see the one we made), but if one is going to be published, I suspect it'll be by San Jose based Bam! Entertainment. Not just Bam, but BAM! ... which sounds a lot like Emeril's famous catchphrase! If you aren't familiar with Emeril's horridly annoying expression, feel free to hear it here! I wonder what Bam! Entertainment was thinking. (Perhaps even more odd Bam! Entertainment's official Nasdaq symbol, BFUN ... I'll let you fill in your own joke there.)
