Today we're taking a look at 3: For 3DO Enthusiasts, the single most popular 3DO magazine of all time. Of course, it was also the only 3DO magazine of the time. Either way, discover how this short-lived magazine cornered the market and then dropped off the face of the Earth. All this on today's episode of 29 Magazines of Christmas.

Excerpt: Because the 3DO's software library was so mixed, the magazine tried to be a little of everything for everybody. The result is a magazine where Sesame Street: Numbers and Super Street Fighter II Turbo were given the same amount of coverage. It's as if 3 never understood who their target audience was, so they decided to hype everything just to cover their bases. The result was a cheery, always -optimistic magazine that quickly disappeared the moment it was clear Sega and Sony were going to dominate the 32-bit market.

On Tomorrow's Episode: Come back tomorrow when we'll take a look at Blender. Wait ... Blender?!? Despite being a magazine devoted to music culture, this poorly-written periodical also dabbled in game reviews. Find out why this is a bad thing on Sunday's episode of 29 Magazines of Christmas.
