Today we're taking a look at Turbo Force, a magazine that only lasted four issues. It's best known for being the home of Johnny Turbo, the fictional superhero that was later used to sell people on the TurboDuo. Was this short-lived publication worth reading? Find out when you watch today's episode of 29 Magazines of Christmas.

Excerpt: Although published by the same people who worked on Electronic Gaming Monthly, Mega Play and Super NES Buyer's Guide, Turbo Force had a decidedly different look and tone. There were no reviews and the magazine didn't seem especially interested the usual cheat codes and half-assed rumors. Instead it focused on page after page of boring, vanilla previews of games you probably won't find at the local Toys R Us.

On Tomorrow's Episode: Come back tomorrow when we'll take a look at Casual Connect, a magazine that just started showing up one day. What offensive video can we pair with this wonderful magazine? Find out on Wednesday's episode of 29 Magazines of Christmas.
