Cyril Reads Pac-Man (Ch. 1 & 2)

Wacka Wacka Wacka!
Over the past six years, Defunct Games has tackles Ninja Gaiden, Bionic Commando, Blaster Master and (most of) Metal Gear. With so many great books behind us, you might wonder what we'll cover next. Will it be Shadowgate or Mega Man II? No. What about Halo? Not even close. The real answer will keep your mind racing through a maze.

Today, on April 1st, Defunct Games is proud to present the next great series -- Cyril Reads Pack-Man! Join Cyril Lachel as he reads through all 128 pages of patterns, tips and strategies for doubling, tripling, even quadrupling your score in the game that's sweeping the country!

Before we can dive into the exciting pattern memorization that is Mastering Pack-Man by Kun Uston, it's important to know the fundamentals. This debut episode will take us through the introduction of the book, as well as how Pac-Man works, an informative guide that will teach players the terminology. All this can be found in this exciting 19 minute episode.

NOTE: What you are about to listen to is Cyril Lachel actually reading the real book, Mastering Pac-Man. Released in 1982 by Signet Publishing, Mastering Pac-Man is a paperback strategy guide with exactly 128 pages of maps and questionable Pac-Man lingo. We have not altered Ken Uston's original book in any way, this is what they released for $1.95 three decades ago.
